Windows Installer 2.0 is an application designed to aid in the installation or removal of programs from a computer that is running a Windows operating system. Occasionally, Windows Installer 2.0 can experience some technical issues that prevent it from working properly. If this happens, Windows Installer 2.0 must be removed or replaced. While the Windows Installer files are part of the Windows system files and cannot be completely eliminated from the system, you can stop a bad version of Windows Installer 2.0 from being active, or replace it with a working version.
