Magellan GPS units enable you to download and install updated maps from the Magellan website. Map updates are provided free of charge with the Magellan upgrade package. However, you may also purchase additional maps from the site. Magellan provides the free Content Manager application to owners of its GPS devices. Download the Content Manager application and install the software before attempting to install or upgrade maps on the Magellan GPS (See Resources). Ensure that the GPS device you are updating is fully charged before beginning the installation process.
