Bonjour is a zero configuration networking implementation created by Apple. The software is designed to automatically detect Apple devices and services on a local network. For example, if you open iTunes on a computer with Bonjour installed, the program will detect other iTunes running on machines connected to the same network. All computers manufactured by Apple come with Bonjour preinstalled. But, if you have a Windows machines, you can manually install or uninstall Bonjour by accessing the Control Panel.
